Alex is our Operations Supervisor and brings to the team ALMOST 20 years’ experience as a qualified electrician. Completing his apprenticeship under the supervision of the previous owners of Elfords Electrical (Mick & Kevin’s father, Jim), Alex is one of our most experienced and skilled technicians. His extensive knowledge across all aspects of electrical installation and repair is matched by his capability to problem-solve Industrial, commercial & domestic electrical issues.

Kevin McCarthy

Kevin‘s extensive experience and longevity with the business that he commenced his career with, almost 25 years ago, cannot be quantified. His significant knowledge of all aspects of the electrical industry including an ASP Level 2 qualification, has earned him a reputation on the Tweed as the go-to Electrician for complex problem solving of all things electrical, from industrial control to domestic lighting. Kevin always goes above and beyond for his customers’ needs and has many valuable years of experience with challenging electrical connections on rural, commercial and industrial sites.

Mick MCCARTHy

As a qualified Chartered Accountant and working in senior management roles in both Australia and the UK for the past 20 years, Mick McCarthy has valuable project management and contract administration experience. Mick's robust financial and administrative knowledge in running large projects, are critical components of successful project completion for our clients. Under Mick’s direction Elfords Electrical constantly strives to exceed customers’ expectations, not only operationally but also in its administration of our projects and communication with our clients.
